Maureen Rohlwing, DPT
Maureen joined the San Ramon Valley PT team in 2013. She graduated with her doctorate in physical therapy from Saint Louis University where she also attended undergraduate school. Maureen has had the opportunity to treat in a variety of therapy settings including sub-acute rehab, home health, and outpatient therapy. She obtained her certification in LSVT BIG for treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease in 2012. Maureen is currently taking courses in the McKenzie method which utilizes a mechanical diagnosis treatment approach to reducing painful conditions and restoring health. She plans on attaining an advanced certification in the McKenzie method. Maureen’s overall approach to therapy is driven by evidence based research, functional exercise retraining, and maximizing patient education during clinic visits. She feels it is through successful collaboration with the patient that the best outcomes are achieved. Outside of work, Maureen has enjoyed exploring the Bay Area and wine country. She also plays on a competitive all women’s soccer team in the East Bay and enjoys running, hiking, and basketball as well as cheering on her Chicago sports teams.
