Marie Schar, PTA, CPI

​Also a native of the Bay Area, Marie grew up in Walnut Creek and attended Carondelet High School. She spent 17 years in the health and fitness industry, managing a health club and coordinating the aerobics department. Through this experience she began to develop an interest in injury rehab and prevention which caused her to return to school. She graduated in 1999 from the Professional Skills Institue for Physical Therapy with her physical therapist assistant degree. In 2003 she became a Certified Pilates Instructor (CPI). She has special interests in women's health and personal training. Marie brings a unique insight to physical therapy allowing her to focus not only on injury rehabilitation, but restoring a person's overall health as well. Marie joined our team in 2000 and is fluent in Spanish.
